(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/aonyeani76/cryptocurrencypanther/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6131Tonight, on The Andy Milonakis NFT Show: It’s been a rough couple of months for the Goat Soup project. The immense star power of Andy Milonakis wasn’t enough to make it an instant success, and the NFT’s utility is taking longer than a portion of the public expected. As he usually does, Milonakis has been battling his doubters and trolls in never-ending back and forths, but we’re not going to cover those. We’re here to talk NFTs.
Let’s give Milonakis himself the mic, as he updates us in video form about the Goat Soup NFT World, the famous free mint of a hip hop song for holders, the parties mixed with art shows, and his conversations with the Sandbox. The most important thing, though, is that Milonakis won’t quit like other influencers. He’s Goat Soup for life.

— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) April 19, 2022
This is not just talk, in the following video you can see the “first preview of our Goat Soup NFT Worlds, our starting games will be 1v1 and parkour and we will add more soon so you can earn more WRLD.”

In another tweet, Milonakis gave us more details, “our world is done, just need to get the server and tokenomics set, and I’ll stream it as soon as it’s ready to get people familiar with how it works.” We should also point out that the Goat Soup NFT World is verified.

The reality is, Milonakis won’t shut up about his NFT project. However, people accuse him of underpromoting Goat Soup. In the following tweet, he makes the reasons for that abundantly clear. “It’s still early because when I promote it, people instantly call me a scammer, I also don’t want to ask big “influencers” to post it because it’s pushy and weird.”
Thanks man, It’s still early because when I promote it, people instantly call me a scammer, I also don’t want to ask big “influencers” to post it because it’s pushy and weird. So we’re building organically, with utility and staying on top of new opportunities to future proof it https://t.co/pMSJ4Stj0c
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) March 23, 2022
And in this other one, he echoes what we were saying. He won’t shut up about Goat Soup and is ever-present in the NFT space. “ Anyone that is paying attention in the space knows I’ve been active as f*ck in discord, twitter spaces, events. I’m not some cringe celeb that makes 1 video about his NFT collection and you never hear from him again.”
I actually don’t think I get lumped in for the most part. Anyone that is paying attention in the space knows I’ve been active as fuck in discord, twitter spaces, events. I’m not some cringe celeb that makes 1 video about his NFT collection and you never hear from him again. https://t.co/5503bFgiya

When Gary Vee got a Goat Soup and tweeted about it, the Floor Price rose. Since then, it’s been in decline. When Milonakis did this video announcement the Floor Price was 0.08 ETH.
Goat Soup motherfuckers pic.twitter.com/gbu5hffRj1
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) April 24, 2022
In one hour he got results, the Floor Price rose once again, this time to 0.119 ETH. In another tweet, Milonakis informed us, “we had about 40 sales, I really appreciate it.” On the Goat Soup Discord, Andy elaborated. “I feel like this pump was nice but I can’t wait til the utility starts rolling out because I know how close we are now. As soon as we get the NFT world live, I’ll be streaming it, gonna have a meeting with a group that does the building and web hosting, should be quick since our world is built already”
This video in which he says all of this is far more entertaining, though.

Of course, the NFT World isn’t the only metaverse Goat Soup will be a part of. We already told you about Milonakis’ collaboration with Worldwide Webb, and in the following tweet he announces his investments in Arcade Land. “Just bought a large Arcade land and 3 standards. The large one I’ll see if we can develop some Goat soup stuff with it and the other 3 are an investment”

Milonakis’ NFT collection is an essential part of this show. Let’s check out the latest pieces he acquired, and, most interestingly, the ones he sold.

And that’s our #20 episode. What will Andy Milonakis do to keep this show interesting? You’ll have to keep your eye on Bitcoinist to find out.

Tonight, on The Andy Milonakis NFT Show: On the surface, everything is quiet in Goat Soup land. Under the hood, Milonakis is working like crazy to bring utility to his NFT collection. The price might be flat, but Andy took some Goat Soup holders to a Lakers game. Plus, he’s actively working on the hip hop album and talking to the biggest metaverse brands out there.
Let’s start with music. In this column’s last number, we informed you about Andy’ plans to record and gift a whole NFT-themed hip hop album to Goat Soup holders. Here’s Proof-Of-Work, a whole verse from what’s presumably the first single:
Goat Soup NFT rap preview. Work in progress. When this is done it’s gonna be a free mint for goat soup holders pic.twitter.com/FyRGwjENlg
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) January 26, 2022
And this is the song’s hook:
Goat Soup hook pic.twitter.com/a1tIsIvcwx
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) February 3, 2022
Also, in the Goat Soup discord, Milonakis posted a survey in which he asked the community if the first hip hop song should be exclusive to holders or if he should sell some to “non goats to bring more eyes in.” Apparently, everyone voted for it to be exclusive. We’ll keep you posted.
He also hosted a contest for the single’s cover art. This post’s featured image is the winning entry.
What else is in store for the Goat Soup universe? Luckily, Andy summarized it in the following promotional tweet. “You’ll get a free hiphop song mint, IRL parties, Integrated into Webb land, in talks with the sandbox for series 2, and next up working on getting an NFT World created for Goat Soup.”
Take advantage of the impatient people selling for .1 …you’ll get a free hiphop song mint, IRL parties, Integrated into Webb land, in talks with the sandbox for series 2, and next up working on getting an NFT World created for Goat Soup. Fully on chain
https://t.co/jAfVMipUd8
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) February 11, 2022
Andy also gifted a free Goat Soup to some pseudonymous Twitter user that went to bat for the NFT collection.
just for that tweet, you’re getting a free one. Dming you https://t.co/bLUzlteToq
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) February 9, 2022
And that bit of generosity is the perfect segway for…
It was all a dream… Both through Discord and Twitter, Andy hosted an LA-based contest. “I got a suite for Lakers vs Clippers in Los Angeles. I’m bringing 10 Goat Soup holders. Make a small vid showing me that you live in LA and click on your opensea profile to show me you own a Goat Soup.” Things moved quickly from there.
Got 10 Goat Soup winners, they’re all coming with me to Lakers vs Clippers in a private suite. Lets go!
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) February 14, 2022
A few days later, Milonakis took the lucky ten to this private box suite at the former Staples Center. Fittingly, it’s now named Crypto.com Arena.

That’s what we in the NFT game call “utility.” The Goat Soup NFT collection is much more than a static .jpeg stored on-chain. And these holders could explain it to you in German:
Smart goat soup peeps pic.twitter.com/Lqa6YeoXFL
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) February 26, 2022
In the Discord, Andy promised that he’ll do similar things in other areas of the U.S.A. Let’s see what he comes up with.
We don’t have anything to show yet, but this might be the biggest Goat Soup announcement in a while. Milonakis promised, “Goat Soup World creation starts today. It will include play to earn mini games inside a custom designed NFT world for all Goat Soup holders to play and eventually earn WRLD.”
NFT World – > Goat Soup World creation starts today. It will include play to earn mini games inside a custom designed NFT world for all Goat Soup holders to play and eventually earn WRLD. Outside of the custom build, people can play/build their own stuff. About 1 month away
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) February 17, 2022
Our man is buying virtual land and developing real estate for the Goat Soup holders. How do we know that he’s investing his own money on this one? Andy recently tweeted, “Damn NFT Worlds 9 ETH floor and less than 400 avail out of 10K. Thank the lord i saw it poppin so i copped another one at 5. Can’t wait to get Goat Soup world created.”
A businessman in his own right, Milonakis is involved in other NFT projects as well. Very successful ones, we might add. He “recorded pages of voices/dialogue” for the Voice Verse and his series sold out in 10 minutes:
The Voice Verse series I’m doing a voice for sold out in 10 minutes. Here’s the OS link https://t.co/2S6FGFcNx6 Not just a regular #ad, I recorded pages of voices/dialogue for the character
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) February 1, 2022
Andy also did some voice work for his frequent collaborators, the Bright Moments gallery. Check out this Crypto Citizens minisode, that includes a full NFT-inspired song:

Last but not least, Andy finally met Gary Vee in the flesh.

A diligent internet citizen, Gary Vee is a frequent The Andy Milonakis NFT Show guest. Here’s his first appearance, and here’s the second one.

Tonight, on The Andy Milonakis NFT Show: On the one hand, the Goat Soup NFT collection’s floor price flatlined. It lost the momentum it got with the Gary Vee pump. On the other hand, a storm is brewing. Slowly but surely, Andy keeps adding utility, rolling out bonuses, and building with the community. The time of Goat Soup will come, and this show will be right there, documenting it all.

Today’s headline is that Andy Milonakis is considering recording a full hip hop album in NFT form, which will be free to mint to Goat Soup holders. In the following video, he’s trying to figure out how to technically do it and asking for ideas from the community.
Full album as NFT? pic.twitter.com/YvgDvIkUcm
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) January 19, 2022
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s start with trouble.
What might be a minority of the Goat Soup community is not satisfied with the progress so far. Bellow, a pseudonymous holder tweeted to Andy, “We need some progress boss man sucks to see a project move then dip below previous floor.” And he responded, “Sell it, I’m not on your schedule.”
Sell it, I’m not on your schedule. https://t.co/KyuBW7tUKJ
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) January 9, 2022
Another example, a self-proclaimed NFT artist told him, “If only you were focused this much on your own project. When’s airdrop for holders?” Milonakis response, “That’s funny how much of a negative hater you are because I was airdropping people animated goats for hours yesterday.”
That’s funny how much of a negative hater you are because I was airdropping people animated goats for hours yesterday. Assuming I had no money before my drop, just because you’re a broke bitch, doesn’t mean everyone is. Stay mad https://t.co/pswMbGLfFQ
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) January 14, 2022
And he literally was. The animated Goat Soup’s airdrop we told you about in the previous episode had just happened.
This faithful Goat Soup holder that even has a goat as a profile pic got this laser-eyed monster:
wow.
was just airdropped this awesome animated goat gif (made by @e_tartist) just for being a @goatsoupnft holder.
thank you @andymilonakis!

— zuvington.eth (@zuvington) January 13, 2022
This other Goat Soup owner got this less animated one and said, “You made my day today sending me this beauty of a Goat! Can’t wait for the rap track to land! ”

The artist for this special batch of Goat Soup, took to Twitter to give us more info. The illustrations “are all hand pixeled and manually animated.” And promised, “Andy’s got that GOAT vision! The next batch will be extra tasty!”
To give everybody a little more info for the animated goats that I made of @andymilonakis goat soup ; they are all hand pixeled and manually animated. They are fun/special and I love each one of them!

The question is, do you believe in Andy? “Most people ape in when a hype train starts, you should be earlier than them and bet on me, cuz I aint stopping.”
Goat Soup has seen a bit of activity in the last day or two. We’re a bit over .15, Most people ape in when a hype train starts, you should be earlier than them and bet on me, cuz I aint stopping motherfuckers. https://t.co/jAfVMi8iOy
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) January 15, 2022
Our man is getting the respect he deserves from the NFT community as a whole. Here, receiving his flowers, Milonakis makes another promise, “I’m here to stay and can’t wait to continue to grow Goat Soup and build it into something multidimensional with the community”
so @cryptoSQRL I appreciate the trust but to respect all of my holders, I’m not going to pretend I didn’t make a nice bag off my release but also I’m here to stay and can’t wait to continue to grow Goat Soup and build it into something multidimensional with the community pic.twitter.com/ny0s4Olzu6

This time is with the Voiceverse NFT project, and it’s for Andy himself and not for the Goat Soup collection. Still, we document it in case it turns out to be important down the road.

What else do we know about the project? Well, about the first song, “I could see the song being released end of January easily.” Also, Andy is “Gonna write some NFT bars and mention some other series.” That means people familiar with the Andy Milonakis NFT show will be able to understand them with ease.
He’s already all-in with the whole album idea, though. “I’m gonna start making music and I’ll figure out the rest. Goat Soup holders if I put out a whole album as NFTs….You’re getting the whole album as a free mint.” However, the news of the day is, Andy is planning a contest. The person with the best verse will get a placement in the album and a 1 ETH reward.
One of the tracks should be a verse from me and then an open verse for whoever wants to jump on it and we do a contest. My favorite track gets 1 ETH or something like that

Important people in the NFT community are starting to notice the Goat Soup collection. Like YouTuber ZephPlayz, the Head of Entertainment Division Bright Moments Gallery DAO, and this guy who swept the Goat Soup floor the other day. However, a more compelling story is how Goat Soup art is invading the real world. Like this paper sticker on a wall somewhere:

The floor price is just one indicator. These kinds of little, spontaneous, works of art by a community that obviously cares are the signal. The time of the Goat Soup will come.

Our hero is Goat Soup’s product manager, but he’s also an NFT degen. Andy is an NFT producer, but he’s also an accomplished collector. What did he get this week? Or, better yet, what did he sell? Well, a Bored Ape, for starters:

That’s enough NFT art for today. See you all in The Andy Milonakis NFT Show’s next episode.

Tonight, on The Andy Milonakis NFT Show: Don’t call it a comeback! Gary Vee returns to our beloved show. The motivational speaker and Internet superstar buys an NFT from Andy’s Goat Soup collection and all hell breaks loose. At least for a few days. That’s later on in the episode, however. We also have the story of Milonakis’ cut-throat rivalry with an NFT collection that won’t stop spamming him.
Before that, speaking of motivational speaking, Andy has something to say to Goat Soup holders. He will deliver. This is not another NFT collection, this is his life now. And he will bring utility and collaborations with other projects, like he’s been doing from day one. “I can’t sleep at night if I’m letting it just sit there,” Milonakis says as the world nods.
Goat Soup mini rant
pic.twitter.com/tU8lxgFESn
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 24, 2021
The Superlative Apes is a derivative hybrid collection that mixes three successful collections: Bored Ape Yacht Club figures, with Superlative Secret Society forms, and Doodles colors. Their community is a little… insistent on Twitter. And Andy Milonakis snapped. “Positivity? You guys are relentlessly spamming the whole internet.”
Positivity? You guys are relentlessly spamming the whole internet. Shameless, desperate motherfuckers. Fuck all of you https://t.co/Zu9XBQZvqS
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 22, 2021
A Goat Soup holder called him out, saying that the Superlative Apes contributed to charity, but Andy was having none of it. “I’m not gonna sugar coat what I say, they are harassing everyone including me with hundreds of spam messages and that’s not even half of it.”
Smoke and mirrors, man. If you don’t like what I said, feel free to sell. I’m not gonna sugar coat what I say, they are harassing everyone including me with hundreds of spam messages and that’s not even half of it https://t.co/ASrwuYllRp
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 22, 2021
When he said, “and that’s not even half of it,” what was Andy referring to? You’ll know soon enough, but first, look how quickly everything escalated.
True, you’ve been collecting stolen art for 3 weeks, I’ve been making original stuff for 20 years. Take the L and find a non scummy community, or maybe you fit in with the other losers too well https://t.co/Zpo0P9Kkz0
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 22, 2021
Well, apparently the Superlative Apes stole the idea, the style, and the swag from another artist. There was a YouTube video explaining the whole situation, but it’s been taken down. Andy, like the stand up guy he is, said, “I don’t like seeing people get stolen from and become helpless because it gets lost in the sea of social media and no one to really do anything about it. So Skylar Richard If you come out with your project still that Superlative Apes stole from you. I’ll support it fully.”
I don’t like seeing people get stolen from and become helpless because it gets lost in the sea of social media and no one to really do anything about it. So @skylarlrichard If you come out with your project still that Superlative Apes stole from you. I’ll support it fully
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 23, 2021
You already know this is not going to end well for Andy. Especially considering that he bought a piece from Skylar Richard, who said to him, “Thank you for the visibility!”
Just bought this piece from Skylar, the guy who seems to have tons of proof that Superlative Apes straight up stole his stuff when he said he didn’t want to work with them. Check him out https://t.co/xiHmbSJlTC https://t.co/FN8pa3deQB pic.twitter.com/b2zzpL6LG1
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 23, 2021
Six days later, Skylar turned his back and joined the Superlative Apes team. WHAT? “Why have I decided to do this? Well, this might sound cheesy, but through all this the SLAPES community have been huge supporters of mine. At one point I was getting upwards of 50 messages a day…” Skylar said later in the thread.
Many of you know there’s been a great deal of drama surrounding myself and @SuperlativeApes . A drama where we’ve both made public and private mistakes. However, today, I’m extremely happy to announce that we’ve put that drama to rest and that we are moving forward…
— Skylar Richard (@skylarlrichard) December 30, 2021
What did Andy say when he found out, though? Well…
Congrats, I don’t give a fuck https://t.co/TxpqooCdZe
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 30, 2021
But, this time, it was the Superlative Apes community that was having none of that. They demanded an apology, a retraction, a correction. What did Andy say? Well… “should I correct it by saying “They did steal from the original artist, I gave the original artist a platform, showed support, bought one of his NFTs then he joined the NFT series that stole his work” that’s accurate.”
Correct the FUD-bomb meaning they didn’t steal the art work? Or should I correct it by saying “They did steal from the original artist, I gave the original artist a platform, showed support, bought one of his NFTs then he joined the NFT series that stole his work” that’s accurate https://t.co/wSHAVUlyvG
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 30, 2021
Boom!
Andy Milonakis and Gary Vee are Internet friends, as shown in episode five of this very show. However, Milonakis still has to pitch. To try to get Vee’s attention, he quotes his most impressive stat and makes the same promises as in the video that started this episode. “We sold out our public in 9 minutes. This is going to be in constant development baby, no stagnant jpegs.”
Hey @garyvee I know i’m late to your sweep party, but since we had that convo, I wanted to show you that plan I had for the totally on chain project. We sold out our public in 9 minutes. This is going to be in constant development baby, no stagnant jpegs. https://t.co/jAfVMipUd8
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 27, 2021
Then, Andy justifies the play. “Haven’t dm’d anyone to bombard and shill people (other than my own timeline) but Gary was nice enough to take my call and hear my idea for an NFT project.” A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do, king. Gary understands.
haven’t dm’d anyone to bombard and shill people (other than my own timeline) but Gary was nice enough to take my call and hear my idea for an NFT project, he said he liked it, i thought fair game while he was sweeping, but you won’t see many of these my babies
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 27, 2021
While we wait for Gary Vee to pick up the call, check out this Goat Soup collab art that a pixel artist made. According to Andy, “75-100 lucky Goat Soup holders will get a special animated goat airdropped to them.”

This might not be NFT related at all. On the other hand, maybe this is the beginning of this show’s next big story. Here, Andy criticizes Ryder Ripps’ criticism of a black and white photograph:
It also doesn’t make it “not” art. This review seems a bit douchie, I give the review a 3/10 https://t.co/H3ef1kdQk0
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) December 31, 2021
Pretty mild, huh? And he didn’t even tag the real guy, this is a screenshot of the real Twitter interaction. However, a few days later, the same Ryder Ripps will turn the NFT world upside down when he accused the Bored Ape Yacht Club of having Nazi and racist undertones and iconography. Wow. Boom!
be an active member of the NFT space. Fully on-chain and already executing on utility, I’m excited to see where he takes us. My goat has bee’s on his head but dont call him a bee head. pic.twitter.com/wSZyDP5r2f
— artSOFLY.eth (@art_sofly) December 30, 2021
On a milder and more positive note, the NFT community is slowly but surely giving Milonakis the respect he deserves. This pseudonymous collector says, “Im a firm believer in Andy Milonakis and Goat Soup as I have seen him enter the space, turn into a complete degenerate, and continue to be an active member of the NFT space.”

This time, it doesn’t take long for Gary Vee to purchase a Goat. When he does, he says, “I’m a matzoball soup kind of guy.” Andy replies, “Thanks homie! You were one of the first people I told about my upcoming project, means a lot for you to support.”

Will the Gary Vee stimulus package work? Will his followers buy Andy’s NFT collection as well? Hours later, Milonakis is so happy that says, “I just sent you this rare teal laser eyes as a thank you, we had a few sweeps but this has been our biggest and most hype pump.”

Tonight, on The Andy Milonakis NFT Show: As predicted, the Goat Soup NFTs sold out in a matter of hours. And the public sale did the same in a record breaking nine minutes. The official website reads “Goats are sold out and can be purchased on secondary! 3,744/3,744 minted.” Each mint was 0.08 ETH, so the project’s first drop made almost $1.4M minus expenses. Hate to say we told you so, but we did.

Let’s start from the beginning and make our way to Andy Milonakis’ thank you video. In it, the man promises all kinds of real-world utilities for Goat Soup, his first serious NFT collection.
Let’s summarize Goat Soup’s story so far, for those of you who haven’t been paying attention to The Andy Milonakis NFT Show.
And that’s where we were when Andy tweeted this:
My NFT series WL mint is starting this coming Tuesday Nov 30th 4PM PST / 7PM EST public sale will be Dec 1st 4PM PST / 7PM EST. The discord will be unlocked after mint. The website is not up yet but the minting will take place on https://t.co/f8peNMi1Xf (1/2)
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) November 28, 2021
Bear these two things in mind, “The discord will be unlocked after mint. The website is not up yet but the minting will take place on http://goatsoup.com.” Also, let’s refresh what does “fully on-chain” means, and the rationale behind the NFT’s characteristics. “The reason why Goat Soup is pixel art is because the nfts actually exists on the block chain and there are size limits”
The project is fully on chain/ethereum, a lot of projects use terms that makes you think it’s on chain, but really the image is stored on some random server. The reason why Goat Soup is pixel art is because the nfts actually exists on the block chain and there are size limits
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) November 28, 2021
The day before the mint ends in excitement.
Time to sleep. Goat Soup NFT whitelist mint in 14 hours. I’m mostly excited and just a little nervous. After the public sale on Dec 1st, gonna start some major planning and setting things in motion.

Is it fate or did Milonakis mastermind this? We wouldn’t know, but he bought the Bored Ape in the previous episode for 30 ETH. Today, the floor price for the BAYC is almost 50 ETH. That’s what we in the industry call timing.
Ape’s almost at 50. 10 days ago they were at 30. Not my best multiple so far but definitely my best timed buy for a big NFT by far. I was so close to holding off til late November, glad I didn’t. Also really happy with my creature, cool cat and new cyberkongz baby. pic.twitter.com/pz4Pg2Gci3

Andy Milonakis is here to make the world a better place. The artist who drew his pixel goats charged him way too little, and he asks the community, “You think if i give her a 50x bonus what she quoted me originally is fair?” Later on, we will learn that the woman asked for just $500.
the nft game mother teresa pic.twitter.com/TchmCZlG4k
— pud (@thepudberry) November 18, 2021
But wait, Milonakis wants to help but, let’s not exaggerate. He won’t give her a percentage of the sales until Goat Soup version two. “I think if we sell out I should give her like 50K and maybe for Version 2 i’ll help her with crypto and give percentage?”
She doesn’t have any wallets or crypto and just wants cash, so far I paid her about $3000, she asked for $500. I think if we sell out I should give her like 50K and maybe for Version 2 i’ll help her with crypto and give percentage?
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) November 18, 2021
He has a reason for that, though. And it’s a good one, Milonakis plans to spend the rest of his life building utility for those Goat Soup NFTs. The artist, on the other hand, only spent a few days drawing them. Is Andy right or is he being exploitative? In the end, he decides to give her the $50K. “I tweeted this because I wanted to be transparent. I think 100X asking price is fair.”
I also think time is valuable, so if I’m going to spend countless hours and years building utility and spending my life on it, verses 4 or 5 days creating 24 pixel art, we have to be reasonable. I tweeted this because I wanted to be transparent. I think 100X asking price is fair
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) November 18, 2021
In the replies, the community seems to think what Milonakis did was more than fair. Remember, the Goat Soup artist only asked for $500. The question remains, should he have offered her a percentage?

Speaking about pixel art, Milonakis got another gift from an artist in the NFT community. This one is an homage to Andy’s obsession with sushi.
Holy shit, I love this so much. You even drew my button up globe shirt, thanks https://t.co/oGPEHfoFK4
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) November 17, 2021
Will they mint it as an NFT? Will Milonakis buy it?
There are details about how the Goat Soup collection came about that’ll be interesting for future NFT artists and entrepreneurs. For example, why didn’t Milonakis release Goat Soup tokens?
When I got rid of the token idea for this first launch, I cut the number of pieces almost in half to 3774. That will cut the projects profits by over 1 million dollars up front. I’m in it for the long haul, lets fucking go. Gonna reveal the name & art soon. Launch prob 7-10 days
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) November 18, 2021
The reasons are that Milonakis wanted to consult with a lawyer first and that he wanted to build a community with people that were interested in the art and the real-life utility, and not with rent-seeking crypto bros.
In the following tweet, he explains why he decided to make Goat Soup a 100% on chain, a fact that dictated the project’s direction. “Most of the NFT’s on opensea are not on chain, and the images are housed on a server somewhere. My project will exist on the etherium block chain, and that’s why its pixel art”
I was inspired by @AnonymiceNFT to release my project fully on chain. Definitely more involved but most of the NFT’s on opensea are not on chain, and the images are housed on a server somewhere. My project will exist on the etherium block chain, and that’s why its pixel art
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) November 18, 2021
And, finally, here Milonakis announces Goat Soup as the collection’s name and shows a sample piece.
The name of my NFT series is Goat Soup. 3774 fully on chain. Coming out in about a week. Here’s one of the critters. There will be different types of bowls, soup, fur colors, hats, horns and eyes pic.twitter.com/xlZOclC9Vd

Another piece in Andy’s collection, here, he tells the story of how he helped The Toddlerpillars by suggesting a trait through their Discord server.

“Disclosure: They hooked me up with 2 nfts as a thank you.” Good for you, Andy.
Another chapter, another case of Milonakis feeding the trolls. He loves it. This time, though, the criticism is about his Goat Soup collection.

This is a poorly researched opinion, considering the Goat Soup Discord server has over 8000 members and every post gets this kind of reaction:

And here, a degen calls Andy a scammer. Milonakis responds, “It shows lack of character that you just randomly accuse people of sh*t without doing any research. Sorry but with that attitude you’re not gonna make it.”

Let’s start with insults to set the scene for later. In general, Milonakis is going hard on the paint. However, since he’s a semi-celebrity, he gets a lot of criticism thrown his way. It affects him and it shows. He can dry his tears with virtual $100 bills, though. “I sold a bunch of sh*t for 1-3eth to jump on stuff that was more exciting. Now I have 8 pieces that are worth 10-30 and I’m holding strong.”

— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 6, 2021
And, just like that, Milonakis promises a whole NFT collection for November. That’s how fast things move in NFT land.
Starting to figure some things out. It’s not that far fetched that I can have my whole first big NFT series out sometime in November
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 7, 2021
And well, the man knows what he wants and doesn’t mess around.
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 7, 2021
And the project already has a Discord, which you can join for free at the moment.
still very early but I’m starting to work on my project so if you wanna be early to the discord for my first NFT project https://t.co/EdiobwAbcC
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 7, 2021
It all ends with this announcement. Milonakis will drop a 1/1 series of digital drawings before the full collection. Anyone that bought any of his NFTs so far, including these ones, will get a free one from the collection. And before anyone has time to mint.
One more set of originals before the full series drops, will also give you a free NFT from the series for all holders of my 1/1’s pic.twitter.com/jiw9iFZL22

And this is the Milonakisuniverse’s road map:
I GOT IT. My NFT plans
In order
1. Series of 15-25 hand drawn originals
2. Full series of 4269 (no leaking info yet)
3. Another series of originals involving photography around NYC (plus some secret sauce)
4. Full Series 2— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 9, 2021
Are you in or are you out?

Andy screwed it up on this one. He won the raffle and was able to buy a MekaVerse at a discount, only to be peer pressured into immediately selling it. Milonakis made a profit, but he could’ve made so much more. In any case, it’s better if you listen to the story in his own words:
Mekaverse flip. I fucked up, at least a little pic.twitter.com/ym2IHIjV8c
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 7, 2021
And this is his reflection on the story., “I don’t know but I’m going to learn from this for sure.”
Fuck, I knew how dope and hype this was, sometimes the voice in your head hypes you up and misleads you, is adrenaline or mania, I don’t know but I’m going to learn from this for sure
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 7, 2021
And, apparently, Milonakis rebought into the project.
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 8, 2021
This outstanding story has to end with an outstanding video. It just has to! “Last thing about Mekaverse:”

As we told you in the introduction, the “paper hand” crowd seems to be getting to Andy. He’s an Internet professional and has been dealing with trolls for a long time, but still… his responses tell us he’s not in control of the situation. “I hate when people act like just because you sold something you’re going to take that money and let it rot in a normal bank account. Acting like there’s no chance you took that ETH and put it into something that mooned.”
We know you made money and broke the Anonymice project, Andy. We’ve been documenting it.
Why are people so worried about other people selling for floor?
A) Because they love the art
B) Because they want the price to go higher and higher
so they can do the same exact thingYou’re such a paper hands – Future paperhands
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 8, 2021
And yes, basically everyone’s objective is to eventually sell at a profit.
However, Andy purposefully ignores the fact that people are “so worried about other people selling for floor” because their money is invested in the project. And by selling at floor, you shake their floor, so to speak. Milonakis knows this.
That being said, this Inner G man is straight-up lying:
you mean because you don’t see the stuff I sold for floor and put into stuff that mooned? Like Anonymice .3-.5 range to 10 ETH floor or Bears Deluxe from .1 to 4 ETH. Eat my dick https://t.co/ORfsRyH6SE
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 8, 2021
If we take out the MekaVerse story, Andy’s trades have been legendary. And he’s only been a degen NFT trader for a couple of months. Give him time and he’ll conquer it all. But first, Milonakis has to make fun of his critics:

It’s been a while since we looked into the Andy Milonakis NFT vault. Let’s check the latest pieces:
ever not sell something because the floor price is too low and then they go crazy out of nothing? Got these bubble buds for .04 & .07 a few weeks ago, now 7 ETH floor, the creator told me to check if i still had them, they were in my hidden folder so I felt I owed him a tweet

Tonight, on The Andy Milonakis NFT Show: The infamous Island Boys make an appearance promoting Milonakis’ upcoming NFT collection. That’s at the very end, though. Before that we have a sketch, fights with another group of antagonists, NFT related products, and deep thoughts about the NFT space. All in all, it’s a great show and we’ll learn a lot about .jpeg culture.

Let’s start with a bang. A video appearance by the star of the show himself:
People that list their NFT vs the people that bid on it pic.twitter.com/mcvBjpfqZM
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 10, 2021
Offers and counteroffers, that’s part of the NFT game. However, as it happens, some people take it too far. And that observation is the sketch’s reason to be.
And while we’re on the subject, is this a simple observation or is it a diss towards degens?
I’ll never be a true Degen, I love to travel too much. True Degens don’t leave the house
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 10, 2021
Degens refers to degenerate traders that spend all day looking at screens, buying and selling. The NFT crowd took the word for themselves and have been wearing it with pride ever since. Still, the question remains, is Milonakis making fun of the community?
Here, though, it’s pretty clear he’s making fun of Open Sea and normal people at the same time:
Enough Normie commercials, can you talk to us?
https://t.co/d2zkd7i7EI
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 11, 2021
Open Sea is the biggest NFT marketplace, but the contention between the community and the company keeps growing. And Andy Milonakis is trying to be part of the solution by holding them accountable.
If you’re still not sure what you can do at Open Sea, just watch the video they made for you, normie.
We’ve been covering Andy’s constant fight (One, Two) with the NFT people that consider him a “paper hands” for selling some pieces. But there are others. Since Milonakis is a decent size celebrity, spammers are a constant presence in his life. The replies of every tweet we feature in this hit show are full of degens promoting this or that project, trying to get his attention. However, there are people that take it even further.
Sorry to block so many of you, even though you can’t read this, other NFT people can . When I get 10-20 tweets in a row about one specific series, it’s clearly that I’m being target shilled by a discord. So yeah, insta block, and complete loss of interest for that series, thanks
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 12, 2021
As we’ve established before, community is crucial for a successful NFT project. And Discord became the linking spot for those communities to gather around. However, as it happens, there are people who abuse their power. “When I get 10-20 tweets in a row about one specific series, it’s clearly that I’m being target shilled by a discord.” No argument there, Mr. Milonakis.
I’m in NFT discords all day, just maybe not yours https://t.co/mBf6uJYAUP
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 12, 2021
People asking for attention is another enemy our hero has to deal with. In each “The Andy Milonakis NFT show” chapter we document several interactions between Milonakis and the community. And he has recommended Discords before. So, we don’t know what this Dave.eth man is talking about.

The economy around NFTs is growing and dripping out of cyberspace. One example is this party for Anonymice, Hoots, and CyberKongz holders in which they required “Metamask proof of ownership.”

Back to the Internet, Coinbase announced an NFT marketplace and Milonakis joined the waiting list.
Coinbase wants free promo for me to get invited to their NFT platform faster and I’m falling for it. https://t.co/sxL1g3MoYe NOT SPONSORED, MORE LIKE SUCKERED. Follow my Journey right now i’m 883377 in line. Lets see if that changes hahahaha
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 13, 2021
Do you think Coinbase joining the space is important or nay?
We already know Milonakis is a philosopher, and his new observations about the NFT space don’t disappoint. However, let’s start with this phrase he retweeted.
Look, NFTs are a scam, but websites that get you to post your hard work for free in exchange for hearts? That’s the real stuff.
— Adam Sacks (@AdamSacks) October 19, 2021
Is the comparison between social media sites and NFTs fair? Or is it a false equivalence? Social media is free because you’re the product. There’s real money behind NFTs. However, the tweet’s idea is interesting. Let’s meditate on it.
Then, Andy responds a “do u consider “crypto” ur passion?” poll with a thoughtful reflection:
I spend all day talking to people, working on creating something with cool utility, buying interesting projects and seeing them quickly evolve or sometimes devolve. All of it is so fun but tbh if crypto/$$ wasn’t the skeleton of this crazy, wild world..prob less exciting for me https://t.co/OXg1JfcpSv
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 13, 2021
This is honesty: “All of it is so fun but tbh if crypto/$$ wasn’t the skeleton of this crazy, wild world..prob less exciting for me.” The art is cool, but money is at the driving wheel of this phenomenon.
To close this section, Milonakis describes the NFT space with rhyme and raw passion.
You got the genius collectors, the code inspectors, the pushy people that act pussy & evil, tryna get to the top like a 1/1 beeple, shillers would be chiller but the s made em sheeple, so many animal nft’s, buyers are manic, shill less animals always do better when raised organic
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 14, 2021
“So many animal nft’s, buyers are manic, shill less animals always do better when raised organic” True, man. True.
Let’s give Andy’s mother the last word, though.
I hope your MP3’s are doing well – my mom
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 12, 2021
Lately, viral sensation The Island Boys have been in high demand. Through the Cameo app, people in the crypto space are hiring them to shill their products. It’s a mix of a tongue-in-cheek joke, with real promotion potential. These two kids might be the worst rappers in the world, but they still go viral every day, or so it seems.

Just look at what Gemini’s Tyler Winklevoss has to say about the phenomenon:
The Island Boys are now the most high profile crypto boosters. I love the Internet.
— Tyler Winklevoss (@tyler) October 26, 2021
In any case, Andy Milonakis couldn’t keep his hands off the cookie jar. First, he paid them to do this freestyle about the MekaVerse story. Or so it seems, can you figure out what they’re saying?
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 24, 2021
And then, he paid them to diss Beeple (“is a puppet”) and Gremplin (“eating too much soy”) and then say “Milonakis about to drop his own NFTs.” Or so it seems, can you figure out what they’re saying?
Last one haha @beeple @supergremplin had to use big names for clout pic.twitter.com/9YvWOhsdLi

Anyway, “The Andy Milonakis NFT Show” is going places. We even had an Island Boys cameo, and these kids are hot as lava right now.

Tonight, on The Andy Milonakis NFT Show: a video-heavy episode in which we get to see Milonakis freestyle with ASAP Rocky. But first, we explore the New York city NFT scene through Andy Milonakis lens, and get to see how a novel idea plays out. A live minting of NFTs. Great news! Andy wants to “help artists make some sales and grow their name.” So, when his main NFT series is ready, he’s going to “do IRL digital art shows and put together a series of 1/1s from other artists but under my account, that I promote.” Better yet, the artists will get 100% of the sale.
I don’t care if anyone steals this because it will only help people. After my series comes out, I’ll do IRL digital art shows and put together a series of 1/1s from other artists but under my account, that I promote. Royalty will be 0 but they get 100% of the sale. (1/2)
— Andy Milonakis (@andymilonakis) October 26, 2021
However, don’t spam Milonakis with your artwork just yet. He’ll “make an official announcement when I’m ready to start the series.”

And then, we can see Milonakis getting his newly minted CryptoNewYorker. They present him as a representative of Staten Island, so, as one does, Andy makes a Wu-Tang Clan reference. Nobody in the audience gets it, which is heartbreaking, but we won’t hold them against them.
