Crypto analyst Mattsby has highlighted the best chart for market participants seeking the clearest macro picture for XRP. He also provided a bullish outlook for the altcoin, noting that a key resistance is now flipping into support. 

This Chart Paints The Best Macro Picture For XRP

In an X post, Mattsby urged market participants to zoom out to the 2-month chart and add the 20SMA if they want to see the clear, well-defined macro trend for XRP. He noted that history shows that XRP has bullish momentum and room to run higher whenever it is above the 20SMA. On the other hand, the altcoin could be preparing for a potentially long, painful consolidation before the next big leg, as long as it remains below this level. 

The analyst noted that XRP has been trading this key moving average since November 2024 and that what was once resistance is now flipping into solid support. He explained that this is why he is staying bullish on the altcoin despite the current price action. Mattsby added that support is holding and that the macro trend is intact. 

Crypto analyst Chart Nerd also provided a bullish outlook for XRP. In an X post, he stated that after months of sustained pressure, multiple timeframes suggest bullish relief is on the table for XRP.  He highlighted $1.54 and $1.87 as levels the altcoin could reclaim during this relief rally. He also noted that $1.560 is the immediate resistance that XRP could face on this rally to the upside. It is worth noting that XRP is already seeing a relief rally, bouncing alongside Bitcoin and the broader crypto market. 

XRP Still Trapped Below A Key Resistance

In an X post, crypto analyst CasiTrades warned that XRP remains trapped below resistance, noting the altcoin has been ranging below $1.6 for over 68 days. In line with this, she declared that nothing has changed on the macro plan for XRP. It is worth noting that the analyst is currently bearish, predicting further crashes for the altcoin.

CasiTrades stated that, at the moment, there is a wait for XRP to do one of two things. The first could be a move down to the macro support levels at $1.09 and $0.87. Meanwhile, the second could be a break and hold above $1.65, which will flip the market bullish. Until then, she noted that the current price action is just continued chop, with XRP stuck in a tight range between $1.28 and $1.39. The analyst added that she expects continuation toward the lower supports once XRP breaks below $1.28. 

At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $1.43, up over 2% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has again predicted that the XRP price could reach $27. This time around, he outlined the technical formation that could spark a parabolic surge for the altcoin as it eyes the $27 target. 

How The XRP Price Could Reach $27

In an X post, Egrag Crypto stated that the Linear Regression targets for the XRP price are $3.4, $10, and $27. He further explained that, as of this month, these three major price levels stand out based on the long-term Logarithmic Linear Regression Channel. The analyst then touched on each price target and how XRP could reach there.

Egrag Crypto described the $3.40 target for the XRP price as the mean reversion. He stated that a retest and rejection from $3.40 would be one of the strongest bearish TA signals for the altcoin. The analyst further remarked that this target is based solely on chart structure, not fundamentals. He added that a close above this level means that XRP is officially back in macro bullish territory. 

Furthermore, the analyst stated that the $10 target for the XRP price is the upper midline. He explained that this is where full bull expansion normally accelerates and that the target rises with time because this channel is logarithmic. Lastly, Egrag Crypto highlighted $27 as the top of the channel. He noted that multiple long-term confluences point to this target for the altcoin. 

Notably, this XRP price prediction comes amid several bullish fundamentals for the altcoin. Ripple was just granted a conditional approval for its national trust bank charter, which could boost XRP’s adoption. XRP also just expanded to Solana with Hex Trust’s launch of its wrapped XRP token for DeFi purposes. Meanwhile, Swiss bank AMINA Bank has integrated Ripple payments, which utilize XRP.  

The Major Levels To Watch Haven’t Changed

Crypto analyst CasiTrades stated that the major levels for the XRP price haven’t changed. The macro supports are $2.03 and $1.64. On the other hand, the macro resistance is $2.41, which a break above would confirm a bullish scenario for the altcoin. The analyst remarked that if a break above $2.41 happens, the next measured targets stand around $2.75 and $2.90.

However, if the XRP price breaks below the macro support at $2.03, CasiTrades predicts that the altcoin could fall below $1.97 and decline towards the $1.64 major support. She reiterated that there is no official confirmation yet on the next potential move for XRP. Interestingly, the world’s largest IQ holder, YoungHoon Kim, stated that XRP has a strong possibility of reaching a new ATH by the end of this year.

Ethereum, the second-largest digital asset has been lagging behind other major crypto assets, raising questions about its short-term prospects. While these coins have achieved new all-time highs in the ongoing cycle, ETH has been on a downtrend after revisiting the $4,000 level. A crypto analyst considers the current action as one of the worst since the asset entered the market.

Worst Ethereum Chart In Years Emerges

The bearish state of the market has been reflected significantly in Ethereum price action in the past several weeks. Seasoned crypto analyst and trader Mags revealed that ETH is at a pivotal moment as it grapples with severe negative performance.

Delving into ETH’s action in the ongoing bull market cycle, Mags highlighted that the altcoin has “one of the worst charts of all time.” His prognosis implies that this current bull cycle might be the least productive for the asset since its inception, with traders uncertain about its potential of hitting a new all-time this cycle.

Looking at the chart, Ethereum seems to have made multiple bullish attempts in the past year that were cut short by strong resistance. Mags noted that the price tried 3 times throughout this cycle but failed to break above the range high of $4,000.

Each failed attempt has led to a deeper retracement as seen in the chart. On the last rejection, the price broke down much lower than the mid-range in addition to trading below the upward-slopping trendline support from the cycle bottom.

As a result, the market expert has identified two potential paths for its price trajectory in the short term. One path suggests a much larger bearish movement and the other hints at a significant upside trend, allowing it to reclaim critical resistance levels and triggering renewed momentum.

For the first scenario, Mags has pointed out that ETH keeps heading toward the downside without any major support. Thus, he believes that the altcoin is at risk of a deeper decline to the range low of $1,060. In the second scenario, Mags claims ETH might move to the $4,000 mark to make another bullish breakout attempt after reclaiming the $2,500 level. 

However, from a more technical standpoint, the expert is confident that the bearish scenario is more likely to happen, predicting an extension of the ongoing descent. Meanwhile, for ETH to turn bullish again, it must at least revisit the upward-slopping trendline on the chart.

Breakout Opportunity Emerges For ETH

While ETH eyes further decrease, key developments hint at growing momentum for an upsurge. Technical expert Jonathan Carter has spotted a Descending Channel formation on the Ethereum chart in the 2-hour time frame.

Historically, a descending channel pattern has served as a precursor for an upswing. With the price trading within the pattern and drawing closer to the upper resistance trendline, ETH is likely to break out to the upside. 

When the breakout from the resistance trendline occurs, Carter predicts a push to multiple targets such as $1,962, $2,143, $2,320, and $2,530. This trend reversal is expected to be bolstered by increased volume during a breakout attempt.
