2022 was a great year for Shiba Inu [SHIB]. From several ‘partnershibs‘ to internal developments, the SHIB ecosystem was thriving. Last February, the network veered into the fashion world with John Richmond. Further elevating this collaboration, John Richmond revealed that a new line of sporty-chic outfits will be presented at the Pitti Immagine Uomo event in Florence, Italy.
In a recent tweet, the Shiba Inu clothing partner announced that Richmond X, a brand-new collection will be introduced at the men’s fashion event.
From January 10, 2023, to January 13, 2023, Florence, Italy will host the Pitti Immagine Uomo, a men’s fashion show. For more than 60 years, Pitti Immagine Uomo has highlighted the city’s fashion ethos. This showcase has emerged as a prominent men’s trade show in the world, particularly in Italy’s top fashion industry.

John Richmond further urged the Shiba Inu Army to be present at the ongoing event.
This is certainly a major boost for Shiba Inu considering the exposure it would get at the event. This isn’t the first time that Shib-themed apparel was being showcased at an event of this magnitude. Back in September 2022, the designer took Shiba Inu to Milan Fashion week.
As the community waits for the launch of Shibarium, partnerships, and collaborations like this would help keep the asset afloat.
Shiba Inu bags dainty gains throughout the day
Despite plummeting in terms of ranking and market cap, the price of the asset was faring much better than its counterparts. Over the last 24 hours, SHIB recorded a 3.18 percent daily surge. At press time, the altcoin was trading for $0.000008929.
Earlier today, the meme coin managed to rise to a high of $0.000009593.
Additionally, the daily trading volume of Shiba Inu also encountered an 18.58 percent boost. The trading volume of the asset was $428,302,847, during publication.

The fashion designer joined the SHIB team earlier this year and produced clothes for the upcoming SHIB: The Metaverse project. Besides, John Richmond’s clothing line was featured in Milano Fashion Week and Shanghai Fashion Week. The latter also had a cocktail party exclusively for the SHIB Army.
Even though the actual SHIB clothing line has yet to be released for online purchase, the fashion brand is constantly introducing new single products. For instance, the LegendsLiveForever Black Metal fragrance for men was unveiled just a few days ago.

SHIB Clothing – Proof of Ownership?
One crypto enthusiast named Mr.BowtieCrypto shared the idea to introduce a tier system to the SHIB clothing line. To illustrate, a t-shirt with the JR x SHIB logo would come in three versions – one for holders of Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), another for LAND owners in SHIB: The Metaverse and another for Shiboshi NFT enthusiasts. Ultimately, the same hierarchy could be applied to hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, hats, belts and umbrellas.

On top of that, the SHIB clothing line made huge steps towards public recognition last month, as John Richmond partnered with the renowned supermodel Josie Conseco to share a sneak peek from the Fashion Week ‘22 collection for Flaunt Magazine. This serves as a follow-up to the previously unveiled The SHIB Scarlet Woman, which also won the hearts of many soldiers of the SHIB Army.

Shiba Inu price breaks into uptrend amidst rising global adoption
Shiba Inu price has posted double-digit gains over the past week as the global adoption of the meme coin is on the rise. NowPayments, a cryptocurrency payment gateway, has facilitated the acceptance of Shiba Inu as payment at fast-food chain Welly’s, fashion label John Richmond and pizzeria Sorbillo.
NowPayments has introduced a fee-burning mechanism that allows merchants to burn a fixed percentage of their profits in Shiba Inu. Historically, a reduction in Shiba Inu’s circulating supply makes the remaining tokens valuable. Therefore, the community has placed a higher emphasis on the regular burn of Shiba Inu, reducing the supply of the Dogecoin-killer token in circulation.
Sorbillo’s jumped on the Shiba Inu bandwagon in late 2021, offering a 5% discount to the SHIB community and supporting the meme coin before it became mainstream.
Fast-food chain Welly’s is a burger joint that recently adopted Shiba Inu as its mascot and underwent complete rebranding. The fully-fledged restaurant chain is driving SHIB adoption higher among real-world businesses.
John Richmond, founded by a British fashion designer, was started in the 80s and has established an NFT partnership with Shiba Inu. The fashion house accepts SHIB and LEASH through NowPayments.
Analysts have evaluated the Shiba Inu price trend and predicted a 30% upswing in the Dogecoin-killer token. FXStreet analysts believe Shiba Inu price could retest $0.000026. However, the Ichimoku cloud is thinning out considerably, and Shiba Inu price is lagging. When the cloud thins it can indicate the trend is weak and the price may be at risk of a reversal.
If the Shiba Inu price rally continues, however, the meme coin could maintain its uptrend and post a 30% upswing.
