Top Altcoins As Important As Bitcoin: Gnox, Ethereum And Dogecoin

People who don’t know too much about crypto often only think there’s only one coin in town: Bitcoin. While anyone who’s followed the market for even a few weeks knows this isn’t the case. It’s Bitcoin that makes mainstream news. To many people Bitcoin is synonymous with Cryptocurrency. We all know there’s far more going on in the crypto world than that, but it’s the only one to get close to breaking into the mainstream. But that doesn’t mean it’s the most important coin. It might have been the first, but is Bitcoin necessarily the best?

Some argue BTC might be the MySpace of the crypto world. The first, but not necessarily the one that goes on to make the biggest impact (Facebook). Whether that’s the case or not remains to be seen. We think BTC will always have a place in the crypto world, and it will be here to stay. But there are actually some other altcoins right now that have huge potential futures in the crypto world. Some of them could become as important as BTC. Let’s have a look at them:

Gnox (GNOX)

Gnox has a long way to go to reach BTC’s highs, but it has already made an incredibly good start. At a time when the likes of BTC are struggling and way down from all-time highs, Gnox has surged in price while still only in pre-sale. And it solves an issue that has blighted much of the crypto world for a while: it makes it simple for newcomers to get involved in the DeFi space and start earning real passive income with none of the headaches.

We think Gnox be hugely important in the crypto space, especially as it attempts to bridge the gap into the mainstream investment world. With Gnox, users get real DeFi benefits thanks to a treasury of funds that’s invested on their behalf. They don’t have to understand how staking works, and they don’t have to manage their funds on a day-to-day basis. That’s real passive income, and real democratic control via risk voting, thanks to Gnox.

Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum has also had a rough few weeks, just like Bitcoin. But many think it’s the Ethereum blockchain (home to thousands of other projects) that is the real future for crypto. And while prices might be down, some argue this is the time to buy the dip and that they could surge up to $10,000 per ETH in a year or two. Ethereum is currently being held back somewhat by high gas fees and slow transaction speeds, but these issues could all be solved thanks to ETH 2.0—creating even more potential in the long-term for ETH holders.

Dogecoin (DOGE)

Dogecoin is important because it has such strong recognition, and a huge fanbase. While good coins still need fundamentals, being backed by the likes of Elon Musk should be seen as a good thing. While he can move DOGE’s price just because of a Tweet or two, Dogecoin is still a good coin that many see as the future for a usable currency in the crypto space. It’s got low fees and quick transactions, and that’s why many people call DOGE “the people’s crypto”.

We think all these coins are just as important as BTC. While they might not reach BTC’s all-time highs any time soon, they’re all crucial parts of the future of crypto.
