📝 Overview 📝

iExec is decentralised cloud computing marketplace where users will sell spare computing resources.

They completed an ICO on the Ethereum blockchain and issued their own utility token called RLC. These will be used on the network to buy / sell the computing resources.

RLC are ERC20 tokens and they were sold to the public through a crowd sale that took place in 2017. They were able to raise a total of $12m in exchange for 87m RLC.

iExec has also developed their own unique dApp store. It is here that all of the decentralised applications that have been built on iExec are available.

iExec also has plans to develop a “Data marketplace”. This will be where data providers will sell their data to the dApp developers.

The bulk of the trading for iExec is taking place on Binance and Upbit although there is still a great deal of volatility. Trade carefully.
